About me

Lily Mokus showed a passion and a skill for painting in the expressionist manner from an early age through her childhood and adolescence.

From the age of 11 she recieved an artistic education in her hometown Art Highschool and later at the University of Arts and Design in Cluj-Napoca where she recieved a grant for 5 months at the University of Fine Arts in Cuenca, Spain.

Her style is decorative, cheerful and joyful that stirs us to get color in our lives.Lily Mokus paints mostly from imagination or memory.

She became known for interior murals, handmades, face painting parties and so her talent grew to paint anything.

In 2015 began doing face painting for children in the park, and then participated in many fairs for handmade items with Christmas theme and ”Martisor”, a Romanian tradition.

She developed a passion for creating jewelry made out of beads, feathers, resin, sterling silver and so on.

Her work describes the inner voice of subconcius mind, inspired by the beauty of imaginary things, the mystery of nature and social experiences.

She has a positive and colorful vision.
